Garage Remodel – Remove Carpet
December 3, 2009 – 5:07 amThe carpet is underneath the cabinets, so the best way that I could think of removing it is by pulling the carpet out from underneath … with my truck.
So the first set was to sandwich the carpet between two 2x4s screwed together. I wrapped the rope around and pulled. The rope broke.
Second attempt, the carpet shredded.
Third attempt, success!
With the carpet removed, the first coat of ultra-pure white paint goes onto the walls and ceiling. That really makes the room look better.
